On February 15, 2014, Chinese company A clearly required in the export cargo list to China C freight forwarding company that C freight forwarding company should deliver the bill of lading of company E to company A for settlement of foreign exchange with the bank. On the same day, the actual carrier, China D company, also issued a bill of lading, the consignee and notify both for the United States E company.
On March 5, Chinese D company released the goods to American B company according to American E company's fax. On the same day, company A received the bank's advice and was unable to settle the exchange because the documents were inconsistent with the letter of credit. Case analysis
